Due to a Right Knee Injury, Kevin Durant Leaves the Miami Nets Game
After suffering a right knee injury, Brooklyn forward Kevin Durant left Sunday night’s Nets game in Miami.
Jimmy Butler of the Heat collided with the forward of the Nets during a drive late in the third quarter, appearing to injure Durant.
Following Butler’s recent drive to the basket, who landed into Durant with his back to him, Durant grabbed at his right knee. Durant briefly remained in the match before leaving to receive evaluation. The Nets decided right away that he wouldn’t play again.
Durant scored 17 points in just 30 seconds. He overcame Dominique Wilkins to take over No. 14 on the NBA career scoring leaderboard.
